Those of you who listen to internet radio might have noticed that everything has gone silent today. Led by SaveNetRadio, most webcasters turned off the music today in an effort to raise awareness about legislation passed by Congress that seriously threatens internet radio. The royalty fee for webcasters is set to double on July 15th, and this could cause a lot of these stations to shut down unless the bill is reversed. The ridiculous thing is that internet radio stations were already paying double what satellite radio does.
